IMG_0545Sounds easy… not quite that simple.  Can you totally forgive someone when you can’t quite  forget!  That’s where it gets tricky.  Forgetting how someone hurt you  is a process that seems to happen  gradually as time goes on.  “Time heals all wounds,” isn’t that what “they” say?  I think it’s true, time takes the sting out.  But you never really forget. That I’ve learned,  and it’s probably wise not to. Take what you’ve learned and use it in a positive way.  In that way  you don’t end up making the same mistakes twice.  You’ll be less inclined to set yourself up for disappointment. But forgiveness that has to be a conscious choice.  A decision you make, to move forward.  In my opinion it’s the only choice out of negativity to a place of peace.  Free from anger, resentment and all the baggage that goes with it .  I’ve learned to choose forgiveness even if the person, place or thing your forgiving never knows or asks for it.  It doesn’t matter.    Let it go, Leave it with them and move forward!

IMG_0400Can we afford to insurer everyone…What will that take?   Are we as American’s ready to do what it takes to make sure every child born in the US gets  necessary immunizations as infants, children and young adults.  Are we willing to spend a little more to make sure preventive procedures like colonoscopies and mammograms are covered without co-payments. Are we willing to do what it takes so that those with pre existing conditions will be able to get insurance!  Do we care whether or nort people everywhere will be able to go to the doctor of there choice, not just any doctor because he/she is listed  on an insurance plan’s HMO.  Thank you to the Obama Administration for all of the above! This week marked the six month anniversary of the signing of the new health care law.  Finally we are on our way to a fairer  healthcare for all.  In time  everyone will have the same opportunities available when buying and using what health insurance was designed for in the first place.  What if all Americans could get coverage…are we ready to do what it takes to make that happen.

IMG_1274I believe Words equal Power. I also believe that within each and everyone one of us is a creative thinker and writer.  I developed a website called whatifbag.com, as I want to hear from the writer in you.   My website will stimulate your imagination, inspire and get you thinking.  Whatifbag. com is a platform  for your voice to be heard.  A place to share your thoughts.   A question is asked, perhaps by you,  that will always start with the same two words “What If”.  The very nature of a “what if” question get you thinking and opens you up to possibilities.  There are no right or wrong answers. That’s the beauty of the question.    My hope is that your left brain takes a bit of a back seat and your right creative side of the brain goes to work.  What if anything were possible?  I think it is.  Give us your thoughts.  Log in and Bag it(post)
